Barton Stud
Barton Stud is the heart of our operation, located just outside Burt St Edmunds and close to Newmarket. Spanning over 300 acres it boasts some of Suffolk’s finest grazing land, primed for our broodmares and young stock. Our pastures are kept in outstanding condition all year round thanks to our heard of pedigree Traditional Horned Herefords and 200 pedigree Lleyn ewes that are an integral part of our mixed grazing policy.
Our dedicated team work closely with the best vets and farriers to ensure our care is of the highest standard and that Barton Stud remains the cornerstone of our operation.

Barton Stud is located in the village of Great Barton, just a few minutes east of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. Set along Mill Road, it sits close to the A143, making it easy to reach from surrounding towns and main routes. As you approach, you’ll find clear signage leading you down the driveway toward the stud’s peaceful countryside setting.
